Microsoft have confirmed that the next System Update for the Xbox 360 will be on April 6th.

The only additional feature that they have confirmed at this time is the ability to use USB storage devices with the console, which Britxbox mentioned earlier in the week.

As we reported in that article, when the update is launched, users will be able to utilise any USB based storage device from 1GB upto a maximum of 16GB. The system will also be altered to allow greater control when moving data from one device to another.

Microsoft also plan to join with Sandisk, a major memory device manufacturer, to produce Xbox branded devices ready formatted.
