Free DLC With Every New Purchase of Forza 3

And complete car list revealed

Microsoft and Turn 10 have announced that all new purchases of Forza Motorsport 3 will include an Xbox LIVE Marketplace code for The Motorsports Legends Car Pack - a downloadable content pack containing 2 tracks and 10 classic cars.

New copies of Forza 3 will contain a one-use code for the DLC. Those who purchase a used copy of Forza 3 will be unable to use the code a second time and will need to pay for the pack. The DLC will be available at launch, that's Oct 23 in the UK, and Oct 27 in the US.

The 2 included tracks are The Benchmark High Speed Ring and Sidewinder Proving Grounds, while the 10 included cars are:

’65 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA
’64 Aston Martin DB5 Vantage
’81 BMW M1
’60 Chevrolet Corvette
’69 Dodge Charger
’57 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa
’80 Fiat 131 Abarth
’67 Lamborghini Miura P400
’71 Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R
’65 Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe

Turn 10 also confirmed today Forza Motorsport 3's complete car list.

It's hard to say how effective this method is at deterring used game sales, but its continued use means it must have some effect. What's the opinion of our loyal readers. Are you purchasing the game at launch and are pleased to have another 10 cars to add to the 400+ already contained on the game's disks? Or were you planning to pick up a used copy and are annoyed at missing out on this DLC for free?
