PSN isnt slow - I can download at full speed Wired or Wireless (Should Add my PS3 is right next to the router)

So is mine, yet it's slow for me and many, many people. You absolutely cannot state that everybody who has a slower than expected experience with PSN downloads are doing something wrong.

the only way I got the speed to improve was on wired and even then I had to forward the ports manually as the PS3 doesn't do UPNP very well.

I go wired and download stuff from PSN fast as Steam / 360. Normally it is down to the WiFI.

There's no doubt downloads on PSN are not as quick as they should be. Anyway back on topic, am really enjoying playing my freebies at the moment. Most impressed with Renegade Ops which is a fantastic game. Its like a top down version of Just Cause. The graphics are fantastic and the game play is a lot of fun.

Well, yes there is doubt, infact it's a bullshit statement full stop to say psn has slow downloads.

I've downloaded on a connection at work at over 350mbps, I always get my full download speed at home on my 40meg vdsl or my 50meg cable broadband.

I can use wired or wifi and my throughput is not throttled by psn in any way shape or form, so yes I am still having this argument, no there isn't anything wrong with psn.

If you are not getting maximum throughput then it's something to do with your network.

A lot of people can't log onto Quake Arcade or PSU because of their ISP, IT'S NOT THE GAME'S FAULT!

A lot of people experienced bugs in Max Payne 3, I didn't experience any, THE GAME HAS NO BUGS!

Bugs in software are completely different, to say PSN has slow downloads is to say they throttle the output or just don't have the bandwidth available to support high speed downloads, the fact it works for me and millions of others at full speed proves they don't throttle and they do have the bandwidth; hence the issue is with your network!

I know gooner people experiencing problems didn't happen at all everyone is just lying.......

I wasn't pointing out logistics of technology. I was pointing out the "It didn't happen to me, so it doesn't exist" logic.

At what point have I used that logic? Have I said any of you are fucking lying? I'm just pointing out its not PSN causing the slow downloads crappy wireless chipsets in the hardware sure, complicated home network setups, ok, not PSN.

While you've all been arguing like a bunch of girls I've been saying the games I downloaded.
