Forza: Horizon

Forza Motorsport is more for the car enthusiast who wants to get under the hood and tinker, to appreciate the machine.

I'm hoping this has a wider appeal. I don't expect it to have the full sim handling but perhaps no setups/simplified setups, closer to a PGR model of handling.

As you say, I'm super mega hyped for Most Wanted. I can cope with them both, my last five played games are racing games. More is good.

What's the dudstep track on that trailer? Heard it on Radio 1 before. It's awesome.

It looks nice but lots of driving around in this video.

So it's pretty much TDU in Colorado with some Burnout Paradise elements? I love Forza but need to see more before I'm convinced.

I'm absolutely loving the playlist on this game so far, demo seems good.

Iv owned every forza game but i had more fun in that demo than any of the full games. Although i wont be buying it as Most Wanted will crap all over it.

I think the demo is incredible, really blew me away and the visuals are superb. Love the feeling with the people walking about in the cutscenes, feels like an actual festival is going on.

I'll pick this up, got a week to play it before Most Wanted comes out.

I played the demo and although I love the Forza franchise, i'm not so sure on this. The handling didn't feel as authentic to me as I was hoping for.

If Most Wanted is out the week after, I may hold fire on picking this up until I can compare the 2.

It feels very similar to 'Dirt' to me but I don't know if that's because the UI has a very similar look and feel. In fact, I think the whole game feels like it could have been made by Codemasters except obviously done a lot better

Sounds like they had a big team on this. If the dev diary's are anything to go by Playground had a lot of help from Turn 10, especially tech wise probably.

The design is a bit DiRT2, the festival atmosphere and the OSD. Although we're three years on from that now so of course the standard has been raised.

It's a good mix of a lot of games this.
