Dragon’s Dogma

Just played the demo via Japanese PSN (Japanese Demo is fully in English).

WOW! This game is fun, combat is cool, visuals are stunning, it just plays and feels so good. Big open areas as well with a day night cycle, this is 100% a day one for me! Fantastic!!!

You can even create a custom character in the demo, and then import them into the full game

Lots of options in the customisation too, seriously loads!

Very very impressed!

Can't say I'm impressed controls are a little hap hazard the griffin fight was cool but what annoyed me was the lack of lock on during small skirmishes. The character I made seemed to have no dodge ability even though he seemed to be a rogue like hunter. The combat seriously needs more work before I'm sold on it.

The combat is modelled after Monster Hunter, so no lock-on. You can bring that thing down easy by launching yourself at it when the Pawns give you the option.

Didn't have any problem with the monsters I just find compared to dark souls controls they are extremely weak. The difficulty of the demo seemed like a walk in the park as well. Just not impressed with any of it.
