Well it's arrived, and it's a very nice piece of kit. It doesn't have the ease of use, or utter smoothness of the iPhone 4S, but it appears to be a good phone.
I played around with one and couldn't stop giggling. Could barely hold it comfortably, the stylus was unresponsive, the UI was confusing and in general it's fucking huge.
If I didn't have an iPhone, I'd go with the Nokia Luma 900.
I refuse to believe the UI was unresponsive and the Stylus is just a pen with a nib that will allow a circuit to be made to register the touch like a finger would, it cant be unresponsive unless the UI is and Touchwiz is probably the best way to use Android - Samsung make great hardware and software.
It's too big for me, but the Galaxy Note Tablet looks awesome.

But as I said for the stylus to be unresponsive the UI would have to be, there is always the possibility you played with a duff one though, my friends galaxy s2 had a dodgy screen that wouldn't register touch from cold every time
I use the galaxy note at work. Not really for a phone itself but the other things (i.e. email, note taking, tv remote, etc). Although it's horrifically big imo, I do quite like it. Never had an issue with the screen/UI being unresponsive although it's synching to TV's and using the gyro seems sluggish which won't effect 9/10 people. Not a bad device though, just too big for every day use and yeah, feels very Dom Jolly.
