If you follow me on twitter you'd know I'm back on a health kick. I've had a treadmill for years but putting in the hours is hard because I get bored... so I got a cheap telly and mounted it in front of the treadmill, hooked it up to the Sky and it has a built in DVD player, so now instead of coming home and crashing in front of the telly for a few episodes of Star Trek/Stargate/Whatever I now watch them whilst on the treadmill and it's easy street.
I normally watch 2 episodes of Star Trek and do 8km in 1.5 hours which is 5-600 calories burnt. Been on it 4-5 nights a week for a month or so and I'm already a stone down and feeling pretty good.
Just thought I'd share. Anyone else on a health kick at the moment?

I'm pissed off with how busy my DW Sports gym gets now, sometimes it's impossible to get on any machine so I'm thinking of purchasing a cross trainer or a rower for home use. Treadmills are out as I have recurring shin splints. Good idea with the tv, think I'll get bored staring at the garage wall.
