So how you holding up? This is the worst part of the off season, everyone's on holiday and nothing happens. But things are starting to get moving again.

I'll get this started with the bananas news that the Championship is going to have 2 ex-england managers in it next season, though was is vastly better than the other

The manager magical roundabout is in full flight at the moment, I'm surprised Martinez didn't go to Villa. Big Sam will do well at West Ham.

In Leicester news, as well as being joint favorites for promotion, having Real Madrid as our last pre-season game and being all round awesome. It looks like we've deffo got Nugent from Portsmouth and Yakubu seems close too. Heskey seems like it might not happen, yet. But Sven really has to get moving on our defence, basically we have one centerback (Sol Bamba) who's a fan favourite, but is really a liability and that's it. I wish we could get Kyle Naughton back but it'll be tough, but as of this moment I have no idea what our back 5 is going to look like on the first day of the season.

We've signed Danny Graham from Watford, and Marcos Senna is apparently interested in coming to Swansea. Personally, I reckon this is just little posturing from his agent to drum up interest from a bigger club.

Well, Yohan Cabaye is in. However, it looks like Barton and Enrique are on the way out.

I wouldn't be surprised if we spend as much as we back in the transfer window, meaning the £35 million for Carroll will have gone missing into the accounts somewhere...

That might hold some water if we hadn't made a profit in all but one of the windows since Fat Mikie took over.

I would have thought selling Carroll was a good idea if a large chunk of the money was going to end up re-invested. However I distincly remember saying the same thing about selling Milner.

If the current club hierarchy think we wont suffer the typical second season syndrome with a Strikeforce of Leon Best, Strolla Ameobi (games against the Mackems excepted) and Peter Lovelyhands, they're dellusional.

Things seem to be strange this summer with the likes of Nolan and Barton seemingly being forced out. I just hope we have a proper strategy for replacing them with players of a higher quality. Recent history doesn't fill me with confidence.

I'm also worried about next summer when Collocini and Guitierez will be in similar contractual situations.
