Announced a bit earlier. Seems a bit soon if you ask me. What sort of innovations would you want added? I think if it had a more in depth levelling and gadget unlock structure it would greatly benefit.

This game is something i'm definitly looking forward too. The first one was such an amazing game, it was even fun to find all the unlockables, this for me is definitly a must have!

Yep, must buy for me too, i dont usually do unlockables, but in this i got them all

The first one was one of the finest games this year. From the trailer it looks like things could be moving out to the streets of Gotham, which is exactly what is needed to keep the franchise fresh.

Aye. Notice the tagline "Arkham has moved" and there are fair rides. Anyone else thinking 'The Killing Joke'? I know the original is based after the events int he graphic novel of the same name. But to me it looks like they've at least taken inspiration from it...

The first was a very challenging epic game so I can not wait for this one. I just hope they do more this time with killer croc and improve on the other boss battles.

Batman: Arkham Asylum was released less than a year ago, but don't let that stop the sequel! According to Warner Bros. Interactive's German wing, Arkham Asylum 2 could arrive as early as October of this year. That's certainly the current listing for it, ahead of any officially announced release date.

Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 was revealed at last year's Spike VGA show, although little more than a teaser trailer was shown. The original game received rave reviews and several Game of the Year nominations, including here at Destructoid.

Warner Bros. has denied the release date and pulled the info, but the info was definitely there.

What say you? Are you ready for more of the Bat in October, or do you think that's not enough development time? Speak your brain on the matter, by all means!

The first one was delayed wasn't it so they could spend more time on polishing it right? So I'd image the dev team moved over to Batman AA2 earlier than its release. I think October would make it 18 months from the planned release of the 1st game.

I think it sounds about right this could hit in October. All the hard work was done in the 1st, the concept works. Now its just evolution of that.

Yeah, Well as long as it's not being rushed out, and is as good or better than the first game I'm happy.

I think the first was overrated and i've never been a batfan really.
Don't get me wrong though,it was solid and smooth all the way,just lacked a bit in the puzzle sloving department.
I think i'd like to see more set pieces and some vehicle action....(i'm not just thinking of driving vehicles,open your minds think what batman could do)

The boss battles need work for sure.
