Besides that though, I liked the original even though it had some pretty bad flaws. Hopefully this will get things right.

A new Medal Of Honor game, subtitled Warfighter, will be released this October.

The news comes from the latest issue of Official Xbox Magazine in the US, as spotted by Game Informer. Like its 2010 predecessor, Warfighter is being made by EA subsidiary Danger Close Games.

While Battlefield 3 developer DICE worked on the original's multiplayer component, this time it is being developed entirely in house at Danger Close. The game runs on Frostbite 2.0, the DICE-developed engine that powered Battlefield 3.

More information will be revealed at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, which kicks off on March 5.

The first one had a reasonable multiplayer.
The dsingle player was complete shit!
That is until you get a good 30-40% through it and it turns out to be pretty good.
I really liked the Afghan setting really,I hope they go with that.
I'm kinda done with fake wars with russians.

Yeah, once you got past the beginning night time levels and got into the day, the game picked up into a decent shooter. Hopefully multiplayer isn't rushed and broken this time.

Well, it looks better than the first game which I enjoyed. Though with the investment in BF3: Premium, I'm not sure if I can stomach another modern shooter just now. Hopefully there's a beta again.

MoH has partnered with real gun manufacturers for realism. You can even buy a MoH branded tomahawk if you want.

Yes it is. Only the USA version of the site is advertising it though. So not that surprising.

Not as instantly exciting as MW, but looks a lot better than BF3's.

AC3, NFS MW and Halo 4 are all out within a week or so of this. Not to mention Resi 6 at the start of October as well. So yeah I won't be getting this.

I'm the same, though not for all the same games you listed. This game exists so EA has something to put on the shelf.

Maybe after Xmas.
