Game of the year after Max Payne 3. Finished, goes back Wednesday as I rented it.

And done, well my first playthrough at least.

Very enjoyable though easily flawed. It runs like a hog, it's a mindless button masher with a misogynistic script and weak boss fights. However, the script is well written, brilliantly acted, the soundtrack is fantastic and the character design was strong all the way through.

Rather short at around 5-6 hours (first time), but I am satisfied. It's clearly a Suda 51 game, with that you need to tolerate some short comings. It sticks true to what it wants to be and never gets serious.

Is it worth getting? It's £30 in Game atm. I was planning on getting Shadow of The Damned tomorrow, but since it's that cheap I might either get that or wait for it to go down because something tells me it'll go down fast.

I believe so. If you like tacky humour, metal music and button mashing with a weird style to it, it's got that in spades.

Not everybody is going to like it though. It's very much a B-game. If you liked No More Heroes, you should be fine.

Started it last night. Finished it last night.

It was pretty poor. It had its moments but it waned on me pretty quickly. Also i didnt find it funny at all (well i gave a little smile at one bit) the combat is sloppy, camera is poor, looks shit, loads of loading times, irritating characters.

Worst Suda game iv played. And iv finished them all.

You think this is worse than Flower, Sun and Rain or Diabolical Pitch or Contact? They're the three I don't like from him, whilst I enjoyed this a lot.

I played Shadows Of The Damned it played like shit and the storyline and humour where cringe worthy. I see nothing here to suggest this will be any different.

There are others i dont like but this is the worst iv played in recent memory. I enjoyed Contact and FSAR.

Its not a bad game. Its just really poor when compared to other button bashers. And i didnt get into the story or characters at all. Maybe im just getting grumpier.

I have SOTD coming to me this week. So glad I am finally playing it.

I actually got that yesterday, I was going to get this as well but it wasn't in stock.

This game is much fun, nice change from the usual serious games I play
