I don't want to play as Robin, but I may have given it a go it it was meant to be very good. I'll stick with the original not-so-good ending, rather than pay money to play as a character I don't want to play as, and still have a not-so-good ending.

I caved in and bought the DLC after playing through the game AGAIN over the weekend. Yeah, it's not amazing, it's certainly no LotSB or Project Overlord, but it's still pretty good. Nothing wrong with its ending either, I thought. I do wonder now, where Rocksteady will go from here. I mean, the game looks pretty decent on what is now old hardware, they could keep the same engine, just sprucing it up a little, and have the whole of Gotham City at the player's disposal. But with the joker dead, who would be the main antagonist?

When I replay this game for the NG+, I'll get this DLC. Should be cool.

NG+ (also, I think, Hard Mode) should prepare you for one of the fights in the DLC. This isn't in any way a spoiler for any of the plot in the DLC, but toward the end you come across enemies that don't have the prompt telling you to counter - you just have to judge for yourself. Of course, in NG+ the whole game is like that, and is still utterly fucking brilliant.

I'd guess that the Joker/Harley baby will be the central feature which will somehow lead presumably to return of the J man himself.

Cow, I really can't see that happening to be honest. As for future villians, in a more prominent role. I'd like to see Hush be the main antagonist, along with Ivy taking on a stronger role in proceedings. The Riddler also has not taken centre stage in either film or game...
