Okami HD (PS3)

I never played it either, but if I were to buy it now I'd buy it for the Wii. Saves purchasing Move for my Dad's PS3! Actually... £15. Might do that next week.

Or just play it with the dual-shock on the PS3? Apparently the Wii version is a bit of a travesty...

Hm, I'd read that some wii-specific gameplay elements had been poorly shoehorned in by the team who adapted the game (Clover didn't do the wii conversion), it also doesn't have the 'paper' filter from the PS2 original.

It looks gash. Ok so maybe a few years ago this maybe looked ok for the standard that was out, but I just don't like this visual style of game. I take it this is the Wii port?

Urban did sound just like Stallone when he said one of the last lines in the trailer and Spider-man, for whatever reason, did not need a reboot.

I would bet my house on it being a port of the PS2 version.

I think the visual style in Okami will never look bad, and in HD it should look even more beautiful. I put this game in the same pot as Jet Set Radio as games that will always look beautiful and can only look better in HD.

So has anyone got this? It's arguably the most beautiful game of this generation. Truly stunning. It's a great game too.

They totally released it at the wrong time for me. Way too many Vita games to play at the moment and lots of PSN/PS3 piling up to play too I was close to buying it, but seemed silly when I know I won't be able to play it for a while.

It wasn't great on the Wii but considering it's a port of such a classic game it couldn't go too wrong.

You guys need to buy this. I'm serious. It's like the Matrix - you have to see it for yourself.

Is it worth it for someone who has completed it twice already though? It's a great game but I'm not sure I can do a third playthrough with so many other games itching for my time.
