So with the 3DS being claimed as "over-priced" and it being out-performed in Japan by the PSP. Sony wants to be more competitive with its price for the NGP.

It's losing some memory, but who knows how big the impact of that will be - they need to be careful to make sure there is a big enough performance difference over the 3DS (which isn't too far removed from the current PSP) for this to get anyone excited. I'm hopeful myself and have put this down on my Christmas list, pending any disasters. This is Sony, it'll probably be fine...

The PSP2 is going to be DL only thought, right? The whole PSN hacking, identity theft malarky is surely going to make a dent in that plan? People won't be so willing to put their card details into the system to download the software?

I'm pretty sure they have said it will take some form of disc as well as PSN download.
