I thought it was great but the textures etc were a little plain and to my eyes obviously up-ress'd PSP textures not fully taking advantage of the PS3 hardware. Just my opinion obviously but i think that a game created from the ground up for the PS3 would be even more incredible.

PGR4 - Metacritic 85/100 [ http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/project-gotham-racing-4 ]
Wipeout HD - Metacritic 87/100 [ http://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-3/wipeout-hd ]

I definitely hope Microsoft buy em, Project Gotham and Geo Wars are pretty much 2 of the first games you think of when you think of xbox. They would be fools to let this one get away!

PGR4 sold 2 million copies, and I think there are a tonne of people who would love PGR5. It's one of the best gaming series ever in my opinion. It's a great opportunity for Microsoft to get a talented studio back on their side. Whether they'll buy BC I'm not so sure, why not just make a deal and fund the project to keep it exclusive.

On a related note, Activision are 'tards. I don't know why any studio would want to get involved with them.

How about Codemaster buy them and do their own take on PGR :)
I don't tihnk Microsoft are interested at all.
The hardcore crowd is well catered for, everyhing is multiplatform pretty much and wouldn't matter if it wasn't because the 360 has a very strong lead over the PS3.
Basicly I think the XBOX is doing just fine but microsoft want that Casual Wii market, i'm not sure buying poeple like Bizarre would help that.
They got some good use out of Rare, who we can only assume are hard at work on a Kinect killer app?

I'm not going to get into an argument but hardware sales is one thing, 3rd party support and software sales is where the money is made and I think the 360 sells more games.....period.

What would be the point in Codemasters buying a racing studio when we already have one, and also we still wouldn't be able to do PGR because Microsoft own the name. Also Codemasters are a multi platform developer, not in our interests to do exclusives.

Personally I think Microsoft need them more then SONY, Bizarre have proven they can make fantastic racing games, and the PS3 has so many AAA exclusive racers (Motorstorm, GT5, Mod Nation Racers, Wipeout) and XBOX only really has Forza as all the other great racers are multiplatform. I think Microsoft would be crazy to let this slip by!

This is what happens when people don't buy your awesome game!

Blur should have had an audience. It really should.
