The States have a different date for their updates than us.Our next content batch kicks in from August 4th to September 1st.

Though it is a bit poor that they get different stuff to us...
We got LBP full retail free though mind which if you didnt have already is pretty decent.
They got an infamous game trial thing though, which i had been gurning to sony about as i didnt realise that at present the 60 minute full game trial you get kicks in once you start playing it, i was hoping to spread 20 minutes over 3 days

Next few updates look brilliant! MGS half price, Abe PSOne classic, Zen Pinball and Sam n Max Devils playground entire season are my favs! Bloody great stuff

How are you finding PlayStation Plus now that it's been a few months?

I'm actually really happy with it, it's exciting waiting for the store to update and seeing if you have any goodies waiting lol It kinda like the feeling at Christmas, I've been very happy with the stuff we are getting, this past month we got Castlevania & Enslaved demos early and both demos were incredible. SAM & Max complete season...I still can't believe we got all of that, the deals have been good such as Metal Gear half price, and I've been massively impressed with the quality of the PlayStation Minis.

Today we got the Assassins Creed Brotherhood Beta a week early, will try that out later, and next month we have Street Fighter 2 HD and Hustle Kings 50% off which uses PlayStation Move, so I'll probably pick that up for £3. I'm very impressed with the content so far.

Sounds like a subsidised package to me.
The thing with the demos is going to be very worrying for the future.
How did Demos in the last 5 years become such a huge commodity.
Instead of actually getting you to buy a game they are used to sqeezing you into some other service or are available on condition of pre orderinig, so that game you didn't know you wanted yet, you now have to buy to see if you want it....WTF!

A bit like Sky.
You have a Tv series, It's get popular, Sky buys it and takes it away from you ,then you have to go pay Sky a subscription fee to get it back?

Your thoughts would ring true if you were forced to pay to play. The exclusive content on PlayStation Plus like demos become available for everybody a short while later. It is the same for the 1 week difference on XBLMP between Gold and Silver.

Killzone 3 beta going up tonight at 8pm to the first 10,000 who download the Killzone theme or pic, dunno if I will bother as I didn't like the previous Killzones.

Hustle Kings, which has move support, is also getting a free trial tomorrow with a 50% off discount if you buy the full game, and, over the next 2 weeks we will get all the Fallout 3 dlc for free (that's £40 worth of dlc) -

Some guys on IGN said it took almost 2 hours to get to the title screen.

It's a 15Gb download, so obviously it's gonna take hrs to download I'm just gonna set it to download tomorrow when I come home from work, should be done when I wake up.

I should point out, I meant 2 hours of updates and installs after it was originally downloaded.

Plus your got some dynamic themes, avatars and a some games on sale, like Crash Bandicoot for £2 (bargain)

The reason I say this is a good month, Shatter is awesome if you haven't got it, but the online western shooter called Lead & Gold: Gangs of the Wild West, that we got yesterday is so good! I played it last night expecting not much, but it's so much fun. You have to play as a team, as everyone gives each other power ups if you stay together, it's brilliant. I think it costs £9.99, so it being free with Plus is pretty cool.
