Do you have a PS3? I only ask, cos I wouldn't say PSPlus is worth it if you only have a Vita. (not yet anyways)
Also, this "something big is coming to PSPlus" is gaining momentum. Latest rumour is that SONY is gonna team up with someone like OnLive to offer cloud gaming! Put 2+2 together and it makes sense this would be a PSPlus service. Imagine if they do...you could stream to the Vita!
This is certainly going to be something big – Sony have dedicated the homepage of PlayStation‘s US website to PS Plus (pictured below). Over the past few weeks, much speculation has been flying around the web on what will be happening to the service. Now that we know something is happening, we’ve rounded up the various upgrades that have been eluded to recently:
> A game streaming deal with Gaikai that would see demos (and possibly full games) sent to your console over the cloud, similar to OnLive.
> PlayStation Vita integration.
> A significant upgrade to cloud storage.
> Tiered membership packages, where the level of content you receive is based on the subscription you choose.
> A bigger emphasis on free full PS3 titles, rather than PSN games.
> Video streaming to both PS3 and Vita, included as part of your subscription.
A final point to take note of, is the tweeting of quite a few SCEE employees lately. They’ve been ‘advising’ their followers that before E3 would be the best time to sign up to PS Plus. Could we see some sort of free content or exclusive membership options for existing members? Let’s wait and see, but I for one am pretty hopeful.
I say if you're on the fence about PlayStation Plus, get it now before E3!
Starting June 6th, there will be an Instant Game Collection of 10 games to choose from ready to download and play as part of the updated PlayStation Plus subscription, with at least three being updated monthly. The launch line-up includes Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown, as well as Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD, Renegade Ops, Chime Super Deluxe, Outland, Darksiders and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine.
As part of the 10 games available, there will be a PlayStation Plus Game of the Month. This will change every four weeks and represent the best PlayStation Store has to offer, including brand new download-only games and Digital Blu-rays.
Additionally, as part of their subscription, members will have access to three digital Blu-ray titles from SCEE – inFamous 2, MotorStorm: Apocalypse and LittleBigPlanet 2.
Happy times. Pricing is not being changed... Nor are there any benefits to already being a member. So yeh, all that chat in twitter was just hype. Not very surprising.
I must admit to being previously sceptical about PS Plus but have now joined up and am very impressed with it. I don't own any of the games on offer so am seriously pleased. I think that my PS3 now will be used as a subscription based machine and my Xbox for buying physical games.

Incredible! I've re read it multiple times, and it is actually a very cool new system...each month we will get at least 3 new games, but now they will be BIG proper full on PS3 games!
Right now, if you don't have Plus...why not? This is unbelievable value!!! The Game of the Month is gonna be so awesome!!!
I hope you don't mind, but I just wanna relist the games you mentioned with the dates.

PlayStation®Plus Presents We’ll be searching for the very best independently developed titles for PlayStation 3 right now and in the future – those games that really stand out we’ll hand pick for our Plus subscribers. Each ‘PlayStation®Plus Presents’ game will be available to download in Plus at no extra cost for 8 weeks from the moment it launches on the Store, meaning that as well as blockbuster titles, as a Plus subscriber you’ll be able to play the very best of indie too.
Our first PPP title will be an extremely cool little shooter called Retro/Grade
This is sweet! I will miss my PS1 games and Minis, but they say you'll still get them if something really good comes along.
Again, surely this is the best value for money EVER!
