Star Wars: The Old Republic

I played it every day since launch till ME3 came out, once i've rinsed that I'll be back on TOR. Still loving it and can't wait for the new guild/legendary implimentations next month.

The GF bought me this last week after I got bored of Warcraft... it was only £20 in Asda.

Been playing a couple of days as a Sith Inquisitor/Sorcerer and it's not bad. Does reminds me of KOTOR, which is no bad thing. The voice acting helps the game a lot, too. It's something that WoW could've benefited from.

Booting this back up. There was a massive drop in players last month, something like 25%. 400,000 subs gone in one month.

Guess them's the breaks.

I paid for six months upfront and haven't played six months worth. FAIL!

MMORPG newb you never pay until the first month is up if it doesn't grab you by the balls by then kick it to the curb.

It seemed like a good deal and I was all like "STAR WARS!" and then... I dunno. The wind blew, I changed course. And that was that.

Oh well, the updates are done. Lets dive back in!

I didnt get on with this at all

Just picked up Tera (apprently, it came and i didnt even know id ordered it lol) so im on that at the moment

Update 1.3: Allies goes live today. No content, but some good features.

2 major features are the group finder so you don't have to spam general, and you can now migrate stats from items to items, so you don't have to look stupid in your Columi gear

Don't think there is anything they can do to get me back playing this. The novelty of voiced quests gets old fast and the storylines are just not that interesting. Companions as well is such a cheap way to enforce solo play as well.

What can you really expect from a wow clone. Update or not this is probably one of the very few games were Bioware took a dive. I wonder who it was that enforced the wow style gameplay.

Yeah you can group up with other players but really how many out of the number of subscribers actually bother to do that ? unless they are looking to do an instance.

I liked the voice acting, but the storyline for my class really didn't interest me. Maybe the others are better, but... meh.
