Bored of the Olympics already.

Having just seen a local news report about someone who is just the one of the police escort for the torch, I'm officially done with the Olympics already.

I presume it's going to get worse, already every other ad is Olympic something. It's only going to get worse isn't it? Anyone else done with it yet?

I've been bored of the Olympics since 2005...

Oh, and I'm also bored of the fucking Jubilee too. The only good thing about that is an extra Bank Holiday to cancel out the extra day of work caused by the leap year.

The torch goes past me tomorrow and then that's the last I'll have to hear of it in the South West.

Stop being a bitch, the only reason they are pushing it is because a global event that has cost a lot of money and effort. It has drummed up a lot of business and will continue to do so. My company alone has had an employment boost in the thousands as an official provider.

Im not interested in the sport personally but I do hope it is a success for everyone involved.

I couldn't give a fuck. To this day, I don't get why England wanted the Olympics so bad. It just doesn't seem like a good investment.

Good thing we (Scotland) isn't paying for it; though we do have the Commonwealth Games in 2014.

I'm bored of all the ceremony and the countdown and that, but the actual event I love. The Olympics is a special event. I look forward to the first events when I'll watch and enjoy athletes doing what they've trained years for.

Until then, I'm ignoring it as much as possible.

I don't understand why people have to be so down on everything all the time.
People moaning about how the Olympics might go before they've even started.
The world will continue to see LONDON 2012 plastered everywhere, and they will continue to not give a shit, just like if it was in any other country.

I do take issue will the BBC thinking the entire country IS London though.This games havn't been labelled Britain 2012 for a reason. They only care about london and the economics surrounding it.

The Euros will be a good watch, and I dont even like football but I always like the big tournaments.

As for the Queen.
It's great shes not dead yet ,so it's only right we have an extra day off (even though I don't get anything extra because it's on a tuesday)

Olympics is overrated It's a cash sink one of the biggest pr stunts a politician can have. Didn't watch it last time won't watch it now. I'll probably playing games or doing something far more interest.
