Portrait monitor

Postby Brocktas on Thu Jun 28, 2012 11:25 am

I'm looking for a monitor that works natively in portrait mode (i.e. no hardware hacks required). Anyone got any recommendations of models?

Most portrait monitor are just landscape one on a different stand, the rotation is done in software.

I never thought of that... That's cool, but do they make monitors with no frame? So maybe if I bought two of them I could have them side by side with nothing in the middle.

That makes no sense whatsoever. It would give you a really weird aspect ratio and you might as well just buy a huge monitor in the first place.
