3 flahsing red lights

Hi all,

My sons x-box is flashing 3 red lights, can anyone tell me why this is and how it can be fixed, cheaply, if possible?

Google the 'towel trick'. Easily the cheapest solution if it works.

Three Red Lights means it's had an internal failure, meaning the hard drive isn't the problem. If anything you'll want to remove the hard drive before you send it.

Call 0800-587-1102 and talk to Microsoft. You'll need the serial number on the back of the console or on the system info page in the dashboard.
