Yes, but not completely. In general, the internet is now faster, but there are still moments (even when it is not peak time and when I have definately not gone over the cap) when it really hangs. Is this normal of the internet? Normal of Virgin? Is something not right?

My friend has been having problems with his, barely even loads of a youtube video sometimes. Whereas at mine, on Virgin also has no problems. Call up virgin and they'll do a diagnostic for you.

think it's just a case of you being on the lowest package. You wont get a stable connection all the time compared to someone on one of the larger packages.

Does your router support QoS? You could use that to place restrictions on her bandwidth pretty easily.
