it's fine harry phlash doesn't get it but the note has found an audience that appreciates what it offers. Apparently its a very popular device I still wouldn't want one but that might change when my contract comes up for renewal there might be a note 2 with better specs by then.

Sounds like it will have all been for nothing. The judge in the case that has banned the sale of the Nexus in the US says it is extremely likely to have infringed on Apple's patents related to single point search. Google is apparently recoding it to only perform web searches in the hope it isn't blocked, though it doesn't look promising.

Pity too, because that type of competition is precisely what will make Apple push Siri even further.

Apple is a patent troll its to be expected. Thankfully the UK have laid the smackdown on them recently.

Maybe, but to be fair Siri was a pretty big fucking innovation. Still...

I will agree on that but Apple have been in the news a lot recently. I understand companies want to protect their innovation but it gets increasingly silly. Android itself is violating 13 patents between both Microsoft and Apple

Well after being a bit underwhelmed with the iPhone 5 announcement and my iPhone 4 starting to have battery life issues I've just this very moment decided to push the button on a Galaxy SIII order. Might not be quite as well built but seeing the handset cost £389 compared to £599 for Cupertino's newest I think I'll survive.

Just hope getting used to Android ends up being fairly painless
