OMG! Shit just got real y'all! Fingers crossed.

So I got a Touch for £70 earlier because I thought my iPod was broke, turns out that wasn't the case. Anyways, recommend any free apps? I got Battlelog, Chrome, Netflix, My Xbox Live and Twitter.

I have shitloads of other apps, but not many were/are free, plus I'm not sure what limitations there are regarding the Touch.

What (if anything) are you prepared to pay for apps? There are some great games and utilities.

I noticed it with Dawkins' The Magic of Reality. There was an update yesterday, but it wouldn't even download. I tried again today, and found that it had completely vanished from the App Store. Some Googling found the above link. I assume it was removed temporarily while a fix is being worked on. I don't have any of the other apps in the list, but Arment says the real list is now much larger than what he posted...

So, Apple lost a patent case against Samsung at the High Court.

Bad for Apple, of course. But there's one amusing silver lining... The official reason that Judge Birss QC ruled against Apple: Samsung clearly did not copy Apple because the Galaxy Tab is "not as cool" as the iPad

Anyways, looks like Mountain Lion is all done. The Gold master seed went out to devs yesterday and the Mac App store has asked devs to submit ML apps. No surprise really as it's due by the end of the month.

Tiny Wings 2 will be a free update to the original.

There will be a seperate HD iPad version so you'll have to buy that if you want to play on iPad... but IMO it's worth it. I would of bought 2 even if it wasn't free so I don't mind spending on the iPad version. I much prefer playing games on my iPad.

Tiny Wings is the definitive game to play when on the toilet, so I don't mind keeping it on my phone.

Totally up for buying Tiny Wings 2, so the reality that it's a free update is pretty damn boss.

It's a damn good gesture by the guy who made it. Being the only person responsible for it, he's made a metric fuckton and is in all likelyhood made for life financially. I'm sure this will prove to make a huge bump in sales anyway.

IMO Tweetbot for iPhone, iPad and mac are the best clients available and any big iOS tweeters should really give it a go.
