Lol, I so hope Kimi eats an ice cream as a joke!

9 laps of awesome :) I haven't gone bed yet, hope this race don't get suspended too long :) This is so cool, lightning bolts as they race F1 cars. Fantastic stuff!

Well that was bloody bonkers! No one could ever have predicted any of that lol Perez was amazing but I question that "mistake" of his, just seems a bit of a coincidence!

Fantastic race tho, Alonso & Ferraris most epic of wins! Lewis should just be happy after so many pitstop bunders, Perez is awesome!!!

Shit - The top ten are 9 different teams, and top 8 are all different, insane!!!

Decent race.

Though I'm kind of hoping China is a straight forward race so we can see really who's where.

Was a good race, far better than last week's snore-fest. Superb drives by Alonso and Perez. Lewis was again unlucky, this time because of the McLaren pit-crew doing a stunning impression of the keystone cops.

I'm particularly chuffed for Senna, a very impressing 6th place for him. :)

Really good race, Alonso superb as always and Perez impressive. Massa has to be cacking his pants seeing those two come home 1-2. Massa once again - terrible. I think Rob Smedleys giving up as well.

Hamilton was ok, just didn't have the pace after losing out at he pit stops. Seemed to be pitting one lap everyone else and then the team were messing up with the rear jack and getting the tape off the brake ducts. In all, 3rd not a bad results. Collecting points on days like that is important.

Bruno Senna drove great and set some good lap times. Really pleased he's had a strong result early on. Hopefully this continues.

Kimi had a quiet afternoon but was really fast again. He says he can get it on the front row, and I think he can win in that current car as the Lotus has great race pace.

Like Phlashman, I want a normal weekend. Melbourne is always a bit weird with the pacing of cars and I want to see where everyone is at.

Yeah, I always find you never get a decent read on the season until the first two european races. Though china should be a good yardstick if it's dry. Bahrain... Well I still don't think its a great idea to go there, even so the heat adds a bit of a cloud to that.

Because the Malaysian GP is great!

Also, because my girlfriend needed to take 2 weeks holiday before April, so we thought "Hey, lets go to the Malaysian GP" - but then we realised that we would be in Malaysia whilst the Australian GP would be on - so we thought "Well, why not go there first?". And so we did that too (and once I get around to sorting the pictures from that out, I'll post them too)!

Malaysia is like walking through treacle with a hairdryer in your face.

How much was a GP ticket in Malaysia?

General Admission on Friday was free, and the Grandstand ticket for the whole weekend (with pit walk and drivers autograph session) was about £140. Frickin' bargain :D

It's almost cheaper to go to overseas races when you consider the prices of British gp tickets.

I looked into that though and it isn't. I think if you want to go on holiday somewhere and can time it around a GP then that's perfect. Flying somewhere just to see a GP won't be cheaper.

The best Silverstone ticket is about £300 for the weekend, reserved seating. I doubt I'd get a flight to KL for £160.

Still British gp tickets are very expensive, I know it's a supply and demand thing but it doesn't lend itself to generating new fans.
