Just going to stick my oar in here. As far as I am concerned, Ferrari did nothing particularly wrong. Whilst I don't like the result (I would have far preferred Massa to win), I didn't care when Kimi was told to do it in 2008. Or when Heiki was told to do it in 2008. The only difference this year was how obvious it was done. Even Eddie Jordan thinks the rule needs to be scrapped.

Bring back team orders I say

Team orders suck. The race was dull anyway, but to deny the one possibility of any on track action at the front of the grid because it's tactically better for the team is just dreadful for the sport.
When smedley told Massa "Fernando is quicker than you" I wanted him to reply with "Well I expect he'll be able to pass me then - screw you alonso!!!!" that would have been nice. And then weave all over the track when the whiney git came anywhere near him
I really don't like Alonso :(

Don't even get me started on Alonso!!

He's a spoilt little brat that consistently throws his toys out of the pram every race weekend!

Still one of the best drivers currently in F1, I think he is probably the 2nd best driver in F1 just behind Lewis at the moment. He only gets spoilt like that cos he wants to win so badly, which is good to see. Better then being a boring driver :)

Oof!

I don't rate Alonso at all. Button showed him up at Canada. If I was to rate the top 5 drivers in F1 right now, excluding The Kraut Cunt, I'd have to say:

1. Hamilton
2. Button
3. Kubica
4. Vettel
5. Webber

Kubica has fairly consistently outperformed the car is he in; both Jensen and Lewis have done the same. I was going to rate Vettel third, but aside from blitzing through loads of people at Silverstone, he's shite at overtaking, and couldn't get near enough to the Ferraris on his home GP. Put Vettel in the Renault and Kubica would show him up. Both Vettel and Webber have lucked into a decent car with Red Bull, I bet David Coulthard is gutted.

I really wish Brawn hadn't opted for Barrichello last season instead of Senna. I want to see Senna in a better car, and would love for Renault to give him a shot.

I'm sorry but Senna just ain't gonna cut it. I know he's still young but I don't see the raw tallent. If I had a pick of drivers i'd like in better cars are suttill and kobayashi!

For me there's three top drivers Hamilton, Vettel and Alonso. They clearly have something very special about them, I'd certainly put Lewis at the top and Alonso at the bottom (as Lewis did beat him in his first year in F1 and I think Alonso is a cunt anyway). But the difference isn't much, each of them can force a win out if they really need it.

Then their's Jenson, Webber, Massa, Kubica who given the right circumstances are on the top level with the other three, but only when things are all right. The top three are a threat even on the occasions their cars aren't 100%. Rosberg might just get in here but I want to see him in a proper fast car.

As for lower down drivers I'd like to see get a better car, Sutil has to be given a chance. Kovalainen will come again. Chandok is a great guy he doesn't deserve the treatment he's getting at HRT. I'd half like to see him at Lotus, or Force India next season.

Senna? He's came through fast and got a long way on his name, but as with Chandok, coming in with HRT wasn't a great idea. Considering he was a whisker away from getting the Brawn drive alongside Jenson last year, you've got to think, if he was almost good enough for Ross Brawn to choose him he has to have something.

I would say in F1 right now there are 2 amazingly gifted drivers Lewis number 1 and Alonso number 2.

I think those 2 are in a league of their own, then you have the next bunch of drivers like Button, Vettel, Kubica and maybe Rosberg. Alonso vs Hamilton is a rivalry I think will span years no matter what car they drive like Senna vs Prost, Hill vs Schumacher, Hakkinen vs Schumacher etc I just hope this championship goes down to the wire between Lewis and Alonso.

I think these two will be fighting for titles for the next few years, whereas Vettel I can see being a guy who wins a lot of races but doesn't lift the title...much like Coulthard and Massa. I hope he proves me wrong, he could get lucky ... I never expected Button could win a title but he did, but this was only cos Alonso and Hamilton couldn't fight for the title due to having pretty crap cars for most of last season, but, as they are such good drivers they were able to make crap cars race winning cars again.

People need to remember that Bruno Senna wasn't allowed to race for 10 years from when he was 10 I think it was. So to achieve what he has missing a large part of his development and experience is remarkable. He deserved the chance, but a HRT isn't really the car to show your talents off with.

Phlash, I can't believe you think Kubica needs everything right to perform well? I think he's been a sensation this year. The countless articles I've read about his hard working attitude staying until midnight working with engineers and they have to send him away because else he wouldn't leave, and his results have been fantastic all year. I think he and Lewis Hamilton have been the best drivers so far this season.

To anyone who is doubting Senna, he's in the worst car on the Grid. Put him in a better car and I bet he'll do much better.

I do agree with the Senna thing, pop him in a good car and I'd like to see it.

However picking a lower team like Lotus or Virgin, they have the money and the experience (especially in Virgins case) to be good in a good few years, I'd love to see a Lotus back at the front, and I wish Virgin was still Manor. I drove past it the other day, I tried to take a picture but it came out shit.

I wanna see a Ferrari, McLaren and Lotus battle, that'd be ace. It's still weird saying 'Red Bull' as a racing team, as they make drinks...I wish it was a proper manufacturer.

I do think Virgin is the best of the new teams though, I think Timo Glock is a very good clean driver Grassi needs to prove himself a bit more. But it must be hard trying to push a car which is useless.

I don't think you can count Virgin as having tonnes of money. Sure the Virgin Group turn over billions of pounds a year, but Branson didn't get into F1 to throw money away. Branson himself said 'This will be the lowest budget team in Formula One'. He wants success through engineering innovation, not throwing money away, and he also said he aims to make a profit. Their success rides on whether their all CFD approach works. In recent races they have improved their performance so it looks promising.

Lotus probably have the better set-up within the team, and have hired some good personnel. I certainly want them to succeed but I can't see them ever winning a championship at present. There budget is reported to be a third of what McLaren and Ferrari currently spend!
