Haha. He's gonna be so pissed off when it doesn't, means he'll actually have to release The Phantom Menace in 3D!

I thought of the newer movies the last one was the only one bearable, Phantom Menace especially makes me cringe. My missus was watching it on tv yesterday and it actually made me physically cringe.

I can honestly say that 'The Phantom Menace' is the worst film I have ever paid money to go watch. Now don't get me wrong I have seen worse films (Not Many Mind), but the level of hype and expectation I had going into the cinema and the disappointment that started to set in after the opening credit's had rolled really is the worst cinema experience I have ever had. Total Fail. Second was only marginally better and the third a big improvement, but only judged against the first 2 prequles, still not a patch on ROTJ the weakest IMO of the original trilogy.

The third one got ruined for me when I couldn't avoid the spoiler that Palpatine was Sidious. Even though everyone who'd been paying attention knew all along!

I was not a big Star Wars fan back then, I watched the original trilogy, but no ones names must have registered with me. It's only in the last 2-3 years have I become a big fan, reading more books, reading loads of comics, being addicted to Wookiepedia. I know now enough to be a beard!
