The Amazing Spider-man (Trilogy)

Postby MoBiUGeArSkIn on Mon Jun 23, 2008 8:07 am

Never Wound What You Can't Kill

Raimi spoke of this recently and said he was very much interested in directing another one and that, if Sony would let him do it, he'd have no interest in changing the cast.

Spidey 3 was indeed a pile of wank. I have zero faith in this.

Marvel should take control of this and ditch all the old actors as well as give the franchise a kick up the arse.

Tobey Maguire has to go. It was obvious in the last movie he didn't give a crap. Even looked out of shape.

Kirsten Dunst....throw her in the bin.

All they need is a better script. Raimi and his brother wrote Spiderman 3, and were pressured into packing in a villain that they didn't want to include.

They didn't write the original and they didn't write the first sequel.

They won't be writing this new film either.

Strong script = strong film. He's a fine director.

I hope they take notice of what has made the new Hulk and Iron man so good.

Spidey 3 was a bit of a mess but 1 and 2 were good.

She looked mildly hot in the first movie. Looked crap in 2nd and 3rd one.

Re: Spiderman 4 - It's On

KIRSTEN DUNST will be written out of the SPIDER-MAN movie series after the next installment and replaced as the franchise's leading lady by ANNE HATHAWAY - according to U.S. reports.
The actress has played Mary-Jane - Spider-Man/Peter Parker's red-headed love interest - in three movies to date, and has signed to reprise her role in Spider-Man 4, which is scheduled to begin shooting next year (10).
But insiders tell Star magazine Dunst's character will be written out in the next movie.
A source says, "The plan is for her character to be written out, probably by dying.
"Anne will take over as Peter Parker's new love interest for this project and for Spider-Man 5 and 6 which are being written now.
"Anne's in L.A. doing a lot of meetings on the movie, because filming is right around the corner."

Looks like the Spiderman 4 villain is The Vulture.

I'm still hoping they will do The Lizard, but I hope they don't overcrowd it with villains.
