Stuck Halo Reach.

Hello all.

I'm stuck on the tip of spear in Halo reach were you have to disable the plasma cannon. I cannot find anyway to disable the gun. I've been wandering around inside the cannon intera. It says the gun has a weak part, how do you disable it please? I've killed everything in and out, so just need to blow up the gun to move on, please help if you know the game?

If my memory is still good, i think you destroy the big blue core at the main entrance by throwing a few grenades at it or firing a rocket launcher.

You are correct.

Fight your way into the cannon and throw a grenade into the pulsating blue core. Then you run away before it blows up.

Or even better still just cheat and take out the gun from a distance with a vehicle.....Yes I appreciate this is quite a bit of Necroposting
