Xbox Gamers Live are hosting a Free For All tournament over the next few weeks on Halo 3. The prizes are as follows:

Tournament Structure
The tournament will start with 64 players, round one will have the 64 players split into eight groups of eight each group labelled Group A to H, in Round 1 each group of eight will play three maps this will show consistancy. The four players with the most total kills in each group after three maps will progress to round two.
In round 2 there will then be four groups labelled Groups I to IV with eight players in each group, where only two maps will be played to get the best four from each match.
So with sixteen players remaining in round three, there will be two groups with eight players but this time only one map will be played. The Top two players of each group in round 3 will move onto the semi final, the winner of Group 1 will play the second place of Group 2 in a head to head match and the winner of Group 2 will play the second place of Group 1 in a head to head match. The winning players of both matches will move onto the Final Match and the two losing players will fight it out for 3rd and 4th positions, at this point the top three players are guaranteed prizes and itll all depend on who wins the matches to get the better prize.
This event is mainly targeted to players that are in clans, we will however be advertising on community websites but the first stage of the signups will be advertised on clans websites. If you are in a clan you have priority in joining this tournament. Everyone from any country is entitled to join this tournament but they must be aware that the tournament times will be GMT. This may not suit all participants joining so please check if you are able to attend the matches before you signup for this, times and days have not yet been suggested but I can say that the tournaments will be at 8pm or 9pm GMT. This is to give you a general idea whether you can participate in this tournament or not. Good Luck to all participants.
Rules
- A host will be allocated to one participating member of each match with the best connection, if there is no suitable connection, a host will be added to the match.
-Any participants found to be working together will be kicked from the tournament on the spot.
- None of the usual forms of cheating for instance messing with connections or modding.
- Any glitches that remove the player from the boundaries of the map are banned, however techniques like grenade jumping and slide jumping are fine.
- Sign ups will be on a first come first served basis.
- Any disputes or complaints should be sent immediately to Potleg UK, the arguements will be looked at in great detail untill the problem is resolved.
- Potleg UK has the final say in any conflicts, disputes or arguements that rise during this competition, though if everything goes to plan, there shouldn't be any need for arguements.
- 6 members per clan is the limit so more clans can participate
